Choir

Choir is led throughout the year by Miss Bunce and Mrs Harrison. Other members of staff sometimes support.

In the Autumn term, children in Year 5 and 6 can take part in the Young Voices concert. There are also opportunities to sing in the Rotary Choir, Southdown Lights and Lanterns Choir as well as the PTA Christmas Fayre. Year 3 and 4 children are also invited to sing at Southdown Lights and Lanterns.

In the Spring term, children in Year 3 and 4 attend a choir where we sing for fun! Year 6 are invited to take part in a Spring Festival choir, singing with other Harpenden Schools at the Eric Morecambe Centre.

In the Summer term, children across the whole school are invited to take part in a Summer Choir, where we prepare songs for end of year events such as the PTA Summer Festival.

Key Dates

Tuesday 10th March 2026 - Harpenden Schools' Spring Festival Rehearsal at Sauncey Wood Primary School (9:10 - 11:50am)
Tuesday 24th March 2026 - Harpenden Schools' Spring Festival Concert at the Eric Morecambe Centre (6:40pm drop off for a 7pm start)
